October 15, 2016 - Nicole Rayy celebrated the release of her album DIG with a party at Cowboy’s Roadhouse in Winnipeg on October 15th, donating all proceeds from the evening to the Manitoba Neurofibromatosis Support Group (MBNF). “I was introduced to this charity by my manager who’s 9-year old nephew lives with NF and I’ve seen the daily challenges he faces,” says Rayy on why she chose to turn her release party into a fundraiser. “I wanted to give back and help spread awareness by donating all the proceeds from the evening to MBNF.” Over $4,000 was raised for MBNF.
October 14, 2016 - Having made herself known in the Canadian country realm over the past five years, Nicole Rayy is kicked it into high gear with the release of her highly anticipated debut album Dig on October 14th. Recorded at Noble Street Studios in Toronto and produced by Doug Romanow (Justin Bieber, Chantal Kreviazuk, Johnny Reid), Dig is a 10-track collection that challenges listeners to dig down to their emotional core. The album’s title track “Dig” is currently at Canadian Country Radio.
November 10, 2015 - The Manitoba the Manitoba Country Music Association proudly hosted the Manitoba Country Music Awards. Singer Kendra Kay from the town of Elkhorn was honoured with the prestigious award for Female Artist of the Year.
May 21, 2015 - Country star and multi-platinum selling artist Dallas Smith launched new label Steelhead Music Inc. and reveals first signing will be Manitoba based sibling duo Petric. Petric's debut single "Here Goes Everything" will be released to Canadian country radio on May 25, 2016.
